The Mechanical to Electrical – Part 1, 4-day programme is designed for technicians who have no previous electrical background, to enable them to perform high frequency, low risk, first-line electrical maintenance tasks including safe isolation, replacement and testing of a range of common electrical devices in a safe and effective manner.

Mechanical to Electrical – Part 2

Mechanical to Electrical – Part 2 is aimed at technicians who have completed Part 1 of the mechanical to electrical programme, or have some basic understanding of electrical systems. This City and Guilds accredited 16-day programme is offered across 4 parts, each part consisting of a 4-day programme.

Mechanical to Electrical – Part 3

The Mechanical to Electrical – Part 3 programme builds confidence in fault finding and fixing within a wide range of electrical systems. Technicians will build on their electrical knowledge gained in previous modules so they can understand how to read drawings, successfully find faults and how to test and connect control devices.

Mechanical to Electrical – Part 4

Following some on-job coaching and assessment, the delegate is able to carry out basic electrical tasks without the need to wait for an electrical colleague to help him/her out. This course is for technicians who completed Parts 1, 2 and 3 of the Mechanical to Electrical programme.

Mechanical Maintenance Skills – Part 1

Delegates will know why they are carrying out the adjustment or carrying out the lubrication. This makes them far more likely to do the work. On completion of the course, the candidate will be able to carry out high frequency, low-risk mechanical tasks. To bring engineers rapidly up to speed with the fundamental principles of industrial control and instrumentation so they can make a positive contribution to operational effectiveness.
