MCP set new standards for quality following the audit visit by BSI last week and we are pleased to announce that as we have successfully transitioned to the new 9001:2015 standards for our Quality Management System.

For the duration of the audit over the 2 days, the auditor was very thorough and checked every part of the system to confirm that we met the requirements of the new standard. He was very complimentary of the thorough preparation we had done and the co-operation and commitment of everyone he met and spoke with.

ISO 9001:2015 publishes the requirements as:

a) The ability to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, and

b) And able to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.

Celia Cionnagh, Operations Manager, will be updating all staff and reissuing the Quality Manual within the next month to incorporate the changes made to reflect the new BSI standard. The next full audit will take place in February 2019.
