Our delegates just can’t get enough of our Control & Instrumentation Courses! Hot on the heels of the Control & Instrumentation Course – Part 1, delivered in May, our delegates returned this week to attend Control & Instrumentation – Part 2.
Part 2 gives engineers the practical skills and theoretical knowledge to undertake a number of industrial control tasks, which further build on their operational effectiveness levels in the workplace. All our delegates confirmed that this course builds on the previous module’s content by understanding:
- Instrument interfacing using signal conditioning/processing devices
- Diaphragm control valve stroking
This week’s course was run at our Reading Training Centre which, as part of their experience, offers a hands-on experience of everyday equipment. With a three-phase connection, the training centre experience in Reading offers delegates hands-on training to test commercial installations.
Below are images of this week’s delegates who attended the course, working on various course tasks. As listed:
- Practical element on our C&I Part 1 course
- Calibrating a Thermocouple Temperature Transmitter
- Calibrating a PT100 Temperature Transmitter
- Calibrating a Pressure Gauge
- Calibrating a Differential Pressure Transmitter
Don’t worry if you missed it!
At MCP we offer scheduled training courses which are suited to organisations that want to train up to four members of staff. We have a full ‘year-round’ calendar offering a choice of dates and venues, with centres in both Solihull and Reading.
Our “learning through doing” approach ensures that your staff get the most they can out of the experience – by helping them to develop improved skills and sustainable knowledge.
NEXT Control & Instrumentation course runs on 28 – 31 October 2019
