For over 30 years, MCP has partnered one the world’s largest Pharmaceutical brands as their strategic partner.
As a result of this successful partnership, MCP has become a valued member of their ‘Supply Chain Academy’ and an initiative to deploy asset management best practices across the organisation’s manufacturing sites, globally.
As a key member of the ‘Global Manufacturing Asset Management Enterprise Leadership Team’, MCP provides a range of services including workshops and on-site training. These sessions cover Asset Management Best Practice, Gap Analysis Assessments, Planning and Scheduling, Spares Management, Reliability Management and Cost Management.
Solution
As a member we ensure:
- Standardisation of Asset Management of materials, content and certifications
- On-going support of Asset Management to implement changes
- The benefits from making improvements are deployed across various manufacturing sites and quantified
- Identification of opportunities for improvement by aligning training contents, methodologies, metrics, approaches, objectives, best practices sharing
Monthly member meetings are held with all the stakeholders including those representing the 5 different business divisions of the organisation and support the business to build a unified Asset Management community, with the same purposes and objectives.
Outcomes
This is a 2-year project includes training and workshops for more than 300 employees. These sessions will contribute to the standardisation processes in asset management, to increase efficiency and productivity, reduce costs, and enable the client to accelerate mobility maintenance across the supply chain.
