November 9th and 10th 2011 - MCP and Warburtons are hosting an AMIS Master class at Warburtons’ Wednesbury site for Operational Leaders to share their knowledge and experiences and learn more about Best Practice and delivering Operational Excellence. The Master class is in recognition of Warburtons’ AMIS World Class achievement – the highest AMIS score ever in the Food Sector, with huge benefits delivered through high performing teams.
The AMIS Master Class will be held on the 9th and 10th November at the Warburtons’ Wednesbury Plant in the West Midlands, UK.  The event will start on the afternoon of the 9th with a site tour of the site.  Areas discussed will include:

  • Implementing operational excellence through employee led front line improvement
  • Operator Asset Care
  • Use of Shire system and successful migration to SAP
  • Visual management

The tour will be followed by a networking dinner, providingdelegates with the opportunity to benchmark and share experiences with Warburtons and other clients.
 
The Workshop on the 10th will cover key topics which show how Warburtons started their  AMIS Journey with an AMIS score of 22% in 2006 and moved to a staggering world beating 86% in 2010.  Topics for discussion will include:

  • Desire for change
  • Organisational Development
  • Continuous Improvement /Culture Change
  • Preventive Maintenance, Planning, Reliability tool
  • Use of systems, KPIs, migration form Shire to SAP PM
  • Spares Management
  • Operator Asset Care, Risk Assessments, Capabilities

Delegates will be invited to participate and also share experience on topics of specific interest.
