Electrical Training
Electrical Training Courses
Our electrical skills training courses have clearly stated objectives. These are either skills based or knowledge based, as appropriate. Our practical courses are designed to be 60% hands on, this means that delegates learn by doing. Regulations based courses like 17th Edition and Electricity at Work are classroom based. The regulations are brought to life using real life examples, from the trainers’ extensive experience.
City and Guilds 17th Edition - Notes
If you already have the City and Guilds 2381 16th Edition which came out in 2001, then you just need to do the 17th edition update course.
However if you did the previous version of 16th Ed, the 2380, prior to 2001 then you need to do the full 17th edition course.
“Up-skilling our mechanical technicians across production and maintenance has helped us to motivate our staff and reduce down time.”

Multi skilling at Müller Dairy
MCP’s trainers work at Müller Dairy’s Shropshire site, in line with their shift patterns, to up-skill their mechanical technicians in City and Guilds electrical courses. This not only ensures that the technicians are legally compliant, but it has also helped reduce production downtime.
