Matthew Walker, Northern Foods
Five years ago Matthew Walker was asked by their parent company Northern Foods, to undertake MCP’s Asset Management AMIS audit to develop a best practice benchmark. Scottish Manufacturing Advisory Service
SMAS raise awareness of Lean Manufacturing with MCP. SMAS commissioned MCP to develop a Lean toolkit for use by their in-house consultants in assisting Scottish organisations. MCP developed and delivered a training programme to SMAS Consultants. The training, along with a Lean toolkit, also developed by MCP, has meant that SMAS consultants provide a superior and more consistent support service to Scottish organisations. The modules covered programme management, Lean Engagement, Lean Leadership, Value Stream Mapping and 5S.
