Assessing your Facilities Management with FM Scan
MCP provide Facilities Management Assessments and Programmes to drive improvements within your hard and soft services.
FM Scan
MCP’s Facilities Assessment (FM Scan) assesses your organisation’s hard and soft facilities services. The assessment covers the full range of possible facilities services and enables companies to select the services they want to assess. In addition to benchmark scores the assessment also provides access to a series of performance measures. This assessment tool is designed specifically for facilities management service providers and organisations with Facilities Management services.
NEW ENHANCEMENT – Part 1 of MCP’s FM Scan is now available as an online, downloadable, desk top analysis tool. Previously this had to be an on-site exercise with an MCP Consultant. You can now quickly self-assess your hard and soft services, benchmarking against sector best practice and against your competitors. This new online first stage means that less time is required with your internal team, saving both time and money.
Benefits
- Assess how your facilities management operation compares with your competitors and to a common set of best practices.
- Provide a series of key performance measures to ensure improved performance
- Enables you to reduce costs
- Improved service levels
Timescales
MCP’s FM Scan facilities assessment takes between 3-5 days.
Johnson and Johnson use FMScan to benchmark their hard and soft services
If you missed Faceo and MCP’s one day FM Excellence Conference, you can now watch the Stop Compromising between FM Excellence and Cost Reduction Webinar. Listen to Russell Higgins, Facilities Manager at Lifescan, Johnson and Johnson talk about why benchmarking their hard and soft FM services with MCP’s AMIS FM (FM Scan) has been so beneficial.
Why you should consider an FM assessment with MCP using FMScan?
Can you answer the following questions?
1. Have you a clear strategy for achieving your facility objectives?
2. How do you know you are working at best practice levels?
3. How do you know where to look for the next level of improvement objectives?
4. How do you know if you have the right levels spend for your facility compared to others?
5. Do you want to know if you have the most effective systems and processes in place?
6. How do you know if your contractors are delivering the most efficient way?
An MCP facilities assessment will help you address each of the above questions. It will identify how and where you can make improvements and the potential financial opportunity available to the business. The approach can be used for both hard and soft services. An external assessment of your FM can also help you demonstrate to your internal customers that you are managing an effective and efficient service.
