MCP is looking for UK based consultants with strong Maintenance and Manufacturing backgrounds, able to implement consultancy and training based performance improvement programmes. Candidates must have Asset Management knowledge, with experience in the Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, Oil & Gas, Food and Drink or Facilities sectors an advantage. Vacancies – Asset Condition & Criticality Technicians

Resources Required:

Experienced and skilled Asset, Condition & Criticality technicians, with knowledge of Asset surveys, criticality surveys, and with experience within a maintenance environment in electrical, mechanical and building services sectors.

You will have:

  • A desirable minimum of 5 years’ experience in maintenance
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Positive work ethic
  • Good customer facing skills
  • Ability to work with middle eastern cultures and climate

You will demonstrate:

  • Experience of general asset maintenance in MEP and / or building services sector :
    • Knowledge of aviation / airport assets to include, baggage and cargo conveyors, security systems (X-ray, door access, automatic barriers, CCTV), AGL systems, UPS, air handling and refrigeration, PLB’s, is a distinct advantage


  • Estimated daily hours worked:  8 hours per day

A 6-day working week, including Saturday and Sundays

  • Tour of duty can be planned as 3 weeks on, one week off or alternatively 4 weeks or 3 month’s duration, depending on local visa agreements and availability
  • Travel to and from Dubai and accommodation expenses are paid for the project team
  • Additional day expenses are paid to cover food and subsistence, local travel to and from workplace & laundry
  • Phase 1 of the programme is likely to begin end of October through to December 2016
  • Phase 2 of the programme is likely to begin January through to May 2017

Vacancies – Asset Management & Maintenance Consultants

You will have:

  • A desirable minimum of 5 years’ experience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent IT skills, particularly MS Excel
  • Ability to prepare compelling client reports

Vacancies – Lean & Six Sigma Consultants

The role involves advising and training clients on how to improve their business performance through applying Lean & Six Sigma Continuous Improvement tools and techniques.

Previous experience in consulting is not a pre-requisite however experience of Lean and linked CI tools in a consultancy and training environment is highly desirable. A training qualification from training or consulting organisations will assist in the role.

Vacancies – Electrical Trainer & Assessor

This role is currently available for those willing to work for MCP Consulting Group, Full Time, as an Associate or alternatively on a fixed short term contract.

Skills required include:-

  • You will deliver technical training and electrical disciplines including Mechanical to Electrical conversion training
  • IET Wiring Regulations
  • Inspection and testing to City & Guilds standards
  • Assess maintenance staff and create summary reports
  • Relevant Assessor & Training qualifications
  • Experience and knowledge of industry sector current best practice
  • Willing to travel and work in varied locations overseas
